Water Pump

The Water Pump is a building added in version 1.0.0120 that mechanically moves water. Once placed, it operates automatically and does not require Electricity or any A_Ratizen to function.

Because it is not an Electricity-based facility, it can be researched at the Research Desk rather than the Engineering Workbench. This makes it available through the standard research path instead of the power infrastructure path.

A Water Pump can be overwritten by placing other blocks or a Ladder on top of its location, but it cannot be placed over an existing block. If a block is already occupying the space, that block must be removed first before the Water Pump can be built there.
