Overview

Weasly is a weasel enemy faction that begins appearing once Prosperity reaches 4 and remains active until Prosperity 7. They start from a few fixed camps on the map, and if those camps are damaged before Prosperity 7, they can resume spawning from them. They also take part in invasions, with their camp becoming more active before an attack begins.

Weasly and its allied units are aggressive toward specific buildings and will dig rough tunnels near their target if needed. When direct access is blocked, they can construct Savage Ladders to reach higher ground, destroying nearby blocks in the process. Because one of their unit types can heal other weasels, stopping them at the point of emergence is important; a defended choke point with traps and a strong army is recommended to blunt their advance.

The weasel group includes several unit types with distinct roles:

  • Weasly: a normal melee unit armed with a spear.
  • Weasnapper: a skirmisher that rushes ahead with a stone axe.
  • Weasenom: a ranged unit that throws a poisonous concoction.
  • Weasilla: a tank unit with very high HP and light knockback resistance.
  • Weaszard: a magic unit that attacks with a staff and occasionally heals other weasels.

At Prosperity 7, Weasly disappears from the map permanently, except for any individuals still present at that time. Any remaining camps are abandoned and become stumps, no longer spawning new weasels even if damaged afterward. This makes Prosperity 7 a hard cutoff for their presence, so surviving the midgame threat is the key to ending their raids for good.
