Cutlass

The Cutlass is a sword weapon that becomes available from the Adventurer’s Guild after reaching floor 25 in The Mines. It is also one of the possible rewards from the chest on floor 60 of The Mines, but only when remixed mine rewards are enabled in the Advanced Options menu when starting a new game.

Because it is a sword, the Cutlass belongs to the standard melee weapon group used for close-range combat. Players who want it early should focus on progressing through the first half of The Mines, since that is what unlocks its purchase. If remixed mine rewards are turned on, it can also appear as a floor 60 chest reward, giving players a second chance to obtain it without buying it from the Guild.
