Tempered Broadsword

The Tempered Broadsword is a sword weapon that can be obtained as a special item drop in the later areas of the Mines, in the Skull Cavern, and in the Quarry Mine. It can also be found by breaking crates and barrels in those locations. As a broadsword, it is part of the game’s standard sword weapon line and is used for melee combat.

It appears as a possible reward from the chest on floor 90 of the Mines if remixed mine rewards are enabled in the Advanced Options menu when starting a new game. Outside of that reward, it is associated with high-level mining progression, since it can drop on Floors 81–99 of the Mines and in other dangerous underground areas.

• Can drop from special monsters in Floors 81–99 of the Mines, the Skull Cavern, and the Quarry Mine.
• Can be found in crates and barrels in those same areas.
• Can be obtained from the floor 90 Mines chest when remixed mine rewards are selected at game start.
