Wicked Kris

The Wicked Kris is a dagger weapon that can be obtained as a special item drop in the Skull Cavern or Quarry Mine by defeating special monsters or by breaking crates and barrels. It can also appear as the treasure chest reward on floor 90 of the Mines when remixed mine rewards are enabled in the Advanced Options menu at the start of a new game.

As a dagger, the Wicked Kris uses the dagger attack style rather than the sweeping or charged attacks of swords and clubs. That makes it a close-range weapon suited to quick stabs and repeated hits, especially in cramped areas where fast reactions matter. Because it is tied to deeper or more dangerous mining content, it is more likely to be found while exploring the late-game mine systems than through ordinary combat.

• In the Skull Cavern, it can drop from special monsters and from containers such as crates and barrels.
• In the Quarry Mine, it can also be obtained from the same kinds of special item drops and breakable objects.
• If remixed mine rewards are selected, floor 90 of the Mines can award it from the chest reward.
• Since it is a dagger, its value comes from quick, precise attacks rather than broad area coverage.
