Lightning Spear
A spear with high electrical discharge, capable of sending bolts of lightning towards additional targets.
Overview
Lightning Spear is a throwable weapon that converts battery charge into an electrical burst when it lands a hit. On impact, it creates a lightning effect that damages nearby enemies, and this splash damage can trigger even if the spear strikes a surface or an object rather than a direct target. This makes it useful in crowded fights, narrow spaces, or whenever enemies cluster around cover.
The spear remains usable after its charge is depleted, but it loses the lightning effect entirely and functions only as a normal spear. That means its value is highest while it still has charge, since the electric burst is the feature that lets it punish groups instead of a single target.
- Best used against enemies standing close together, since the lightning effect can hit nearby foes.
- A surface or object impact can still release the lightning burst, so it does not require a clean hit to be effective.
- Once the battery charge is gone, it can still be thrown or used, but without its electrical damage.
- Because the effect is tied to charge, it is worth saving for fights where the splash damage will matter most.
