Fossil

A Fossil is a large collectible item that can be randomly found by breaking stone rocks anywhere, or by breaking stone walls in the Deep Mine. It can be carried overhead or placed on a vehicle for transport, and it can also be moved through a Tele Tower or Tele Pad while being carried.

Fossils are mainly useful for selling at John’s Goods, where John weighs the item and offers a price based on its weight. Because the price depends on the result, players sometimes sleep, save, and reload before re-weighing a Fossil if they want a better offer. A Fossil can also be kept as a decoration or held for NPC photo requests. Another option is to take a photo of it with a Camera or Camera Tripod and sell it to John.
