Camera Tripod

The Camera Tripod is a tool used to take photos in Dinkum. It can be placed outdoors, inside a House Move Deed, and inside Guest Houses, but it cannot be used inside NPC buildings. Once placed on the ground, it functions as a reusable camera setup for taking pictures and does not have durability or a charge bar, so the same one can be used indefinitely.

Camera Tripod is purchasable from Theodore at the Museum Deed after making 10 donations of Bugs and/or Fish. It also becomes available for photo request tasks on the Bulletin Board, where the player is asked to follow the map marker, take a photo of the indicated area or subject, and then hand in the result. After the photo is turned in, it is removed from the photos tab in the Adventurer’s Journal.

Photos taken with the Camera Tripod are saved permanently unless they are deleted or given away to townspeople. This makes it useful both for collecting memories and for completing townsperson quests. The player can also place photos from the camera into picture frames in the first room of the Museum.

• Place the Camera Tripod on the ground before using it.
• It works in outdoor areas, Houses, and Guest Houses, but not in NPC buildings.
• A single Camera Tripod can be reused forever because it has no durability or battery limit.
• Photos can be kept, deleted, or gifted to townspeople.
• Camera and Camera Tripod can both be purchased from Theodore once the Museum donation requirement is met.
• For photo requests, use the map icon to reach the target and take a photo there before returning the request.
