Jacaranda Tree

The Jacaranda Tree is a plant that can be grown from a Jacaranda Sapling purchased at Plant Shop Deed. One sapling can be bought per day while the shop is open. To plant it, dig a hole and bury the sapling in dirt or sand in any biome.

A Jacaranda Tree takes 5 days to reach full height after being planted. Its growth and maturity can be checked with the Plant Book; once the tree is fully grown, the book no longer displays data for it. The tree’s appearance changes with the season as well: it is purple only in Spring, and green during the other seasons.

Once grown, the tree can be chopped down with a Basic Axe or better. Cutting it down yields 3 Hard Wood Logs, or 4 if the stump is also chopped. The Jacaranda Tree does not produce a sapling or seed when harvested, so a new sapling must be bought if you want to plant another one.
