Tin Ore
Overview
Tin Ore is a mineable ore resource found across the island and in underground areas. It is obtained by breaking grey Tin Ore rocks and large boulders with a pickaxe, and it can also be produced by grinding shiny stones in a stone grinder. Tin Ore nodes respawn in rough soil, and additional ores can appear in 
Mining Tin Ore requires Mining License 1 and a Basic Pickaxe or better. It appears on rough soil anywhere on the island, but is more common in the Tropics. Random ore spawns can also appear in the Desert after rain, outside rough soil areas. Tin Ore may also be obtained as possible loot from the 
- Ore rocks are easier to spot in the open than in the mine, where they blend in more with the environment.
- Tin Ore rocks can be confused with iron ore at a glance, but Tin Ore does not glow inside caves, which makes it easier to identify once you are underground.
- Because it respawns on rough soil, it is worth revisiting known ore patches when gathering materials.
