Night Merchant

Night Merchant is the special vendor who appears during the Night Market Event. From Year 2 onward, the event takes place on the 19th of every season, but it is not available immediately: the player must have built John’s shop, built the Museum Deed, and converted their tent into a house before the event will be added to the bulletin board calendar. When the requirements are met, a colorful tent appears at the Visitors Site and opens only after Late, once the day has ended and night has fully set in.

Inside the tent, the Night Merchant sells event goods and provides access to limited-time crafting at the Jewellery Table. The main draw of the shop is the Mystery Bag, a Dinks purchase that rewards the player with three random items when opened outside. The merchant also sells special utility and decorative items, including the Blistering Bottle, which causes a heatwave the next day, and the Glowing Box, which changes its visual behavior depending on the time. Other items offered include the Glowing Slab.

The Night Merchant’s stock makes the Night Market one of the few sources for several themed cosmetics and glowing furniture pieces. The Mystery Bag can contain a wide range of rewards, from common to super rare items, including:

The event also adds seven exclusive accessories that can be crafted at the Jewellery Table in the Night Merchant’s tent, and these can be placed as a Jewellery Box afterward:

Because the tent only opens late at night and only appears on specific seasonal dates, it is worth checking the bulletin board ahead of time and planning a visit after dark. If the player wants every event item or accessory, the Night Merchant is the key source for completing that collection.
