Rayne

Rayne is an NPC who lives on the island after she moves in. She owns and runs Plant Shop Deed, making her the island’s dedicated farming specialist and one of the main characters tied to crop progression and plant-related items.

She will only visit the Visitors Site if the island host has the Farming Licence Level 1. Once the player has built a small amount of relationship with her, she can ask to move onto the island after the island host has increased the relationship to more than half a heart. After Rayne has moved in, her greenhouse becomes part of the island’s regular NPC services.

A few useful notes about Rayne:

• After raising her relationship hearts to 2 hearts, she gifts the player a Plant Book.
• This is the only Plant Book she gives as a gift, but if a replacement is needed, another copy can be bought from Jimmy's Boat.
• The day after the player reaches 2 or more relationship hearts with Rayne, the “Let’s hang out!” option becomes available.
• NPCs are available to hang out with on their day off.
• Rayne's Greenhouse is open from 11 am to 4 pm and is closed on Friday.
• She does not like Scarecrows, but thinks Chooks are cute.

Because she is tied to farming, Rayne is one of the first NPCs players usually seek out when building up an agriculture-focused island. Her relationship rewards are especially valuable early on, since the Plant Book helps support crop and plant-related gameplay.
