Overview

Conveyor Balancer II is a conveyor-routing building used to manage item flow through a tunnel. Its defining feature is that it lets the player set a priority input, a priority output, or both at once by adjusting the interactable switches on the front and back of the tunnel.

This makes it useful when a conveyor network needs more control than a simple pass-through. By assigning priority on the input side, the building can favor one line over others when resources are being collected. By assigning priority on the output side, it can direct materials toward a chosen destination before sending them elsewhere. Setting both at the same time allows the same tunnel to act as a more directed junction in a larger transport system.

Because the priority settings are handled through the building’s switches, its role is not passive storage or processing but traffic control. In practice, it is most relevant in layouts where several conveyor lines intersect, or where certain items must be routed consistently without manual intervention.

  • The front and back switches control whether the tunnel prioritizes input, output, or both.
  • It can be used to bias item flow toward a specific line.
  • It is most valuable in conveyor networks that need selective routing rather than simple transfer.
