Boiler

Overview
The Boiler is a mid-game industrial building that converts fuel and water into steam for use by Steam Turbines. It sits in a water-and-fuel loop: each Boiler consumes 20 L/s of

A single Boiler produces enough steam to support one
For water supply, the building is simple to scale but easy to overtax if the pipe network is not planned carefully:
- Each Boiler adds 5 complexity to the Pipe Network it is attached to.
- One Pipe Intake provides 500 L/s, enough for 25 Boilers at full rate.
- The Pipe Network itself caps at 600 L/s, so two Pipe Intakes are needed to push the total Boiler count up to 30 Boilers before hitting the network limit.
Fuel consumption depends on the chosen fuel and the Boiler must receive 3.6 MJ/s to maintain 360 L/s of steam. Its supported fuels include

When planning a boiler line, the main considerations are water throughput, pipe network capacity, and fuel logistics. The building is most efficient when paired directly with Steam Turbines and fed from a stable water source, since its output is intentionally tuned to match turbine demand exactly.
