Overview

Incite is a support-class flying unit that appears in Mindustry as a mobile builder/healer platform. Visually distinct for emitting two building beams instead of the usual single beam, Incite functions primarily to repair and restore allied units and structures rather than dealing direct damage. Its combat stats are not applicable in the usual weapon table—its role centers on healing output.

Incite heals at a rate of 198 health per second and does not deal conventional weapon damage, have inaccuracy, or impart knockback. It is treated differently from offensive units: its "weapon" entries are effectively N/A, and it carries no special extra properties beyond its healing function. The dual-beam animation is cosmetic; it does not confer any mechanical advantage to building or healing speed compared to single-beam units.

Practical notes and usage considerations:

  • Keep Incite protected behind front-line units or turrets; it is valuable for sustaining pushes and base defenses but can be fragile if exposed.
  • Positioning matters: as a flying unit it can reach damaged targets quickly, but it must be within range to apply healing—use escort units or air cover to keep it safe while it repairs.
  • Because its beams are purely visual and do not alter build/heal rate, do not rely on the dual-beam appearance as an indicator of increased effectiveness.
  • Incite is best employed in coordinated groups where its healing output can keep multiple high-value units or key structures alive during sieges or prolonged engagements.
