Overview

Cyerce is a naval unit that fires seeking cluster-missiles and provides two on-board repair beams to allied units and buildings. It appears as a mid-range support assault vessel: its primary offensive capability comes from cluster projectiles that deal very high burst damage at close-to-mid ranges, while its repair points supply persistent healing that can significantly increase the longevity of friendly naval and ground forces.

Cyerce mounts a pair of repair beams that each heal at 42 HP/sec to allied units. Its offensive armament consists of dual missile mounts that fire at 0.5 shots/sec each (two firers), launching a primary warhead and multiple frags. The primary missile deals 25 direct damage and 25 area damage with roughly 3.7-tile splash; on detonation it releases seven frag bullets that each deal 11 direct and 13 area damage with approximately 2.5-tile splash and possess homing ability. The frag bullets also apply a small repair effect of 2.8% (apparent as a stat on the frags in source data). Cyerce’s movement speed was standardized in updates to 6.45 tiles/sec, and its combat range was increased during development from 24 to 27 tiles.

Field use focuses on combining its strong burst potential with its healing utility. Cyerce lacks the long reach of heavier naval artillery such as the Bryde, so it functions best when paired with units that can exploit its repair output or draw enemy fire into its effective range. The ships’ cluster projectiles yield extremely high damage in close encounters but suffer from a relatively low fire rate, making it vulnerable to sustained rapid-fire attackers. Its repair beams allow it to act as a mobile support platform: when grouped with high-DPS offensive ships (for example, Oxynoe or Sei-class vessels) the healing can dramatically increase the striking power and survivability of the formation without requiring stationary Repair Turrets.

Tactical considerations:

  • Use Cyerce to buff juggernaut units rather than as a frontline damage dealer; its repairs offset the need for dedicated repair structures.
  • Keep Cyerce near powerful offensive ships so its healing is always applied to the highest-value targets.
  • Avoid exposing Cyerce alone to long-range artillery like Brydes or concentrated Lancer fire; its shorter range and low firing cadence make it vulnerable at a distance.
  • Counter units that can burst or out-DPS its healing (for example Fuse or Scorch) quickly, as they negate the repair advantage by killing targets before repairs accumulate.
  • Placing Cyerces within defensive formations helps repel single-target, high-damage threats (such as Scepters) by sustaining blocks and vessels through focused heals.
