City Entrance

City Entrance is the point where immigrant groups appear and wait for the player’s decision. Every 10 in-game hours, three new groups of immigration candidates arrive there, and you can either accept one group into the city or press Esc to reject all of them.

While candidates are waiting, saving and loading the game will refresh the list of available groups. This makes City Entrance useful when you want to search for better recruits, but it also means you can accidentally lose a group you were holding for later if you reload. If you are not trying to optimize your population, it is usually safer to make your choice promptly.

• Three candidate groups appear every 10 hours.
• You may accept one group or reject all of them with Esc.
• Saving and loading while candidates are waiting replaces the current list.
• Use the refresh behavior for selective recruitment, but be careful if you are delaying acceptance because of population limits or workforce planning.
