Berry Orchard

Berry Orchard is a building used to grow Berry indoors. Unlike wild Berry plants, it can still be harvested during winter, making it a reliable way to keep a Berry supply going year-round.

It is available early, but it is a little difficult to rely on as a starting structure because of its production costs. For that reason, it is usually better treated as an ingredient source for more advanced products rather than as a main food source.

• One production recipe uses 20 Berry and 3 Slime, with a work cost of 3000.
• Another uses 20 Berry, 3 Water, and 1 Bone Powder, with a work cost of 3200.
• Slime is the main bottleneck for early use, since it is limited and does not regenerate once collected.
• Slime can be bought or traded at the Trading Post and Trading Center, but this is expensive early in the game.
• Bone Powder and Water are easier to obtain, and the second recipe uses less of them than a Grain Farm does for comparable production, though the workload is a little slower.
