Bone Powder

Bone Powder is a basic processed item used mainly as fertilizer. It is consumed by Grain Farm and Berry Orchard recipes, where it helps turn Water into Grain or Berry. It also serves as a catalyst for smelting Iron Ingot at the Furnace, although Lime Powder is the more efficient choice when available.

Its crafting uses make it a useful support material for food production and early industrial processing. Bone Powder can be converted into:

• 30 Grain from 4 Bone Powder and 4 Water at a Grain Farm
• 60 Grain from 4 Bone Powder, 8 Water, and 2 Lime Powder at a Grain Farm
• 20 Berry from 1 Bone Powder and 3 Water at a Berry Orchard
• 2 Iron Ingot from 1 Bone Powder, 1 Iron Ore, and 1 Charcoal at a Furnace

Because it is consumed by farms, keeping a steady supply can make agricultural production more stable. This is especially relevant if you rely on farm output for food or other downstream crafting. Bone Powder is also available from Elamari and Lakaibia from the start, which makes it easy to import when you want to avoid dedicating labor to its production.

On the trade side, Bone Powder has limited export opportunities. Only some Commercial 3 cities buy it, and even then only occasionally, so producing large surpluses is usually inefficient. In practice, it is better treated as a support resource for farming and smelting than as a reliable trade good.
