Iron Ingot

Iron Ingot is a mid- to late-game construction material used in the building of several powerful facilities, including Bathhouse, Combat Academy, Earthquaker, and Furnace. Because these buildings are all valuable, players often end up constructing multiple copies of them, which makes Iron Ingot demand rise quickly.

Iron Ingot is especially important for Furnace-related progression as well. Since Furnace is needed not only for producing Iron Ingot but also for other purposes, there is little reason to avoid building as many as you can support. In practice, Iron Ingot is one of the resources that can become a major bottleneck once advanced infrastructure starts to expand.
