Beeswax

Beeswax is a crafting item that appears naturally in the Grassland biome alongside Hive Trap structures. It is one of the early materials tied to honey bees and becomes much more useful once you set up a steady production line, since it can be farmed by defeating Honey bee and bringing them back to build an Apiary.

Its main role is as a material for several important products and infrastructure pieces. Beeswax is used to craft Candle at the Handicraft Workshop, making it a direct input for a life-goods item that increases intelligence. It is also used at the Blacksmith to produce Copper wire, where the recipe can accept either Rubber or Beeswax as the non-metal component. In addition, Beeswax is required as a construction material for Hive Trap.
