Iron Ore

Iron Ore is a basic resource found mainly in cave biomes. It is one of the most important early-to-midgame materials because it is the raw input for making Iron Ingot at the Furnace.

Once smelted, Iron Ingot is used in the construction of several advanced structures, including military buildings such as Combat Academy and Earthquaker, as well as the Bathhouse. Because of that, Iron Ore is not just a crafting material but a gateway resource for expanding both defense and infrastructure.

Iron Ore can be frustrating to locate in sufficient quantities, since it does not always appear abundantly where you need it. When local deposits are scarce, importing it is a practical option to keep production moving instead of delaying key upgrades and buildings.
