Silkworm Cocoon is an item produced in a Cocoonery and used as an intermediate material in the silk industry. It can be turned into Silk in a Weaving Mill, making it part of the chain that eventually supports higher-end textile products.

Its main value comes from this processing chain rather than from direct use. Silkworm Cocoon is also consumed directly in a production chain that leads to Silk Dress, which is only used by ratizens of the high class. Because of that limited downstream demand, it is usually not efficient to dedicate Hunters to gathering it.
