Defense Tower

Defense Tower is a defensive structure that autonomously aims at and fires upon hostile entities. It operates using Standard Ammo and requires a supply of that ammunition to remain active. Drone Rails can resupply Standard Ammo to the tower, allowing sustained operation without manual intervention.

The Defense Tower is available as a Level 9 reward from the Griffits Blue Corporation in the Corporate Terminal. Once acquired, it functions as a persistent automated defense point that protects installations, chokepoints, and other strategic locations by engaging enemy units within its operational engagement parameters.

Placement and integration focus on maintaining supply lines and positioning to cover expected enemy approaches. The tower’s reliance on Standard Ammo means resupply logistics determine its long-term effectiveness. Drone Rails are the supported automated resupply method, enabling continuous operation if the rail network remains intact and stocked.

• Install Defense Towers at likely enemy approach vectors, base perimeters, or around high-value assets to provide overlapping fields of fire.
• Ensure Drone Rail connectivity or a steady supply of Standard Ammo; without ammo the tower will cease to operate.
• Use multiple towers to create redundancy so single points of failure or local supply interruptions do not leave defenses compromised.
• Acquire the tower from the Corporate Terminal as the Level 9 Griffits Blue Corporation reward before attempting to deploy one in the field.
