Overview

The Food Station converts raw consumables into prepared food and consumable items. It is a Habitat-only building that must be placed inside a Habitat module. The station provides a set of production recipes that transform basic produce (for example Polifruit, Hydrobulb, Prickler, Purplant, Glowcap, Serpent Root and Star Tears) into a variety of calorie, hydration, resistance, antidote and utility consumables used by colonists.

The Food Station is unlocked as the Level 5 reward from the Future Health Solutions faction in the Corporate Terminal. Once unlocked and placed inside a Habitat, it accepts the raw consumable inputs and outputs specific crafted items. Many outputs provide calories or hydration, restore or boost limits, prevent natural loss, remove positive effects, or grant temporary resistances and stat changes.

  • Placement and unlocking: must be deployed inside a Habitat. Unlock reward: Level 5 reward of Future Health Solutions in the Corporate Terminal.
  • Core function: converts raw consumables into prepared consumables (food, fluids, gels, bars, shards, capsules, plasm, etc.).

  • Polifruit conversions: Polifruit is processed into Polisnack (4 Polifruit → 1 Polisnack), calorie items such as Calorie Chew (5 Polifruit + 1 Prism Herb → 3 Calorie Chew), Calorie Gel (4 Polifruit + 1 Grubbler → 2 Calorie Gel), Calorie Bar (3 Polifruit + 1 Serpent Root → 1 Calorie Bar), and specialized items like Calorie Stim Shards (4 Polifruit + 1 Sulheart → 1 Calorie Stim Shards) and Calorie Block Capsules (5 Polifruit + 1 Oxallop → 1 Calorie Block Capsules).
  • Hydrobulb conversions: Hydrobulb is processed into hydration items such as Hydrolite (4 Hydrobulb → 1 Hydrolite), Aqua Chew (3 Hydrobulb + 1 Prism Herb → 1 Aqua Chew), Aqua Gel (4 Hydrobulb + 1 Grubbler → 2 Aqua Gel), and Aqua Block/Stim items (e.g., Aqua Stim Shards, Aqua Block Capsules).
  • Prickler conversions: Prickler yields mixed calorie/hydration items like Figler (4 Prickler → 1 Figler), Nutri Chew (4 Prickler + 1 Prism Herb → 2 Nutri Chew), Nutri Gel, Nutri Bar, Nutri Fluid, and Nutri Stim/Block items that boost or stop calorie/hydration loss.
  • Purplant conversions: Purplant is used for antidote and cleansing items such as Purfins (3 Purplant + 1 Serpent Root → 1 Purfins), Antidote Gel, Antidote Fluid, Antidote Shards, and Clear Capsules (which increase natural toxicity loss).
  • Glowcap conversions: Glowcap produces resistance plasm items (e.g., Corrosion Res Plasm, Drain Res Plasm, Infection Res Plasm, Termo Res Plasm) by combining Glowcap with various secondary ingredients; these plasm items temporarily double specific natural resistances.
  • Serpent Root conversions: Serpent Root crafts energy-related consumables such as Serpent Sticks (4 Serpent Root → 1 Serpent Sticks), Energy Boost Chew, Energy Stim Shards, and Energy Boost Capsules that raise energy limits or regeneration.
  • Star Tears and other ingredient uses: Star Tears appear as an input in several fluid recipes (e.g., Calorie Fluid, Aqua Fluid, Nutri Fluid) to produce drinks that restore HP/calories/hydration and sometimes add temporary bonuses.

The Food Station handles many distinct recipes across multiple raw input types; players should keep a supply of primary raw consumables (Polifruit, Hydrobulb, Prickler, Purplant, Glowcap, Serpent Root, Star Tears) and secondary herbs/ingredients (Prism Herb, Grubbler, Serpent Root, Sulheart, Oxallop, Star Tears) to produce the full range of outputs. Place the Food Station inside a Habitat near storage or crew quarters to streamline feeding and consumable production.
