Overview

Chemicals is a crafting material used in multiple recipes and can be exported. It is produced in the Furnace and functions as a mid-tier intermediate component for items such as power cells, sulphuric acid, and supermagnets.

The standard production recipe in the Furnace consumes 1 Synthetic Silicon, 3 Wolfram Powder, and 1 Helium-3 and requires 2 seconds to complete, yielding 2 Chemicals. The Chemicals recipe must be unlocked at the Recipe Station under the Furnace category; the unlock requires 1 Chemicals Blueprint, 600 Synthetic Silicon, 1,000 Wolfram Powder, 2,000 Helium-3, and 800 Data Points.

Chemicals is used directly in several crafting recipes across different machines. It is required by the Basic Item Printer to make Power Cell (10 Chemicals + 10 Electronics → 1 Power Cell, instant), by the Refinery to make Sulphuric Acid (1 Chemicals + 1 Sulphur Ore → 1 Sulphuric Acid, 0.5 seconds), and by the Furnace to make Supermagnet (2 Chemicals + 5 Sulphuric Acid + 5 Wolfram Plate → 1 Supermagnet, 3 seconds).

Chemicals can be exported to corporations for value and rewards. Export offers listed include Future Health Solutions (level 8) and Moon Energy Corporation (level 7). Both corporations list a value of 30; exporting to Future Health Solutions grants a PressurizerSulfur Extractor as a reward, while Moon Energy Corporation grants a Base Core Amplifier v1.
