Practical notes for layout and operation:
- Footprint: choose between the 4x5 default or the 5x5 alternate footprint to match conveyer and power grid planning; the unit occupies more space than the basic
Furnace but delivers higher throughput.
- Heat requirement: the building relies on heat-based processes; ensure appropriate heat source or building placement within production lines that supply required thermal conditions and inputs.
- Recipe selection: prioritize recipes that match your supply chain.
Wolfram Powder yields one of the highest per-minute outputs (300/min) and is effective where raw Wolfram Bars are abundant.
- Upstream feeding: several recipes require
Helium-3 and other intermediate goods; provision adequate supply chains (miners, pressurizers, and intermediate assemblers) to avoid bottlenecks.
- Corporate value: some recipes are specifically of higher Value when shipped to Corporations; use those where corporate contracts or high-value shipments are the goal.
