Overview
Boost Mod is an augment that changes how the Terrain Tool behaves, increasing its speed. Like other augments, it is a small backpack-compatible module that only works when placed in a compatible utility slot on the Backpack. It is part of the general family of tool-modifying items that alter the behavior of the Terrain Tool rather than acting as a standalone machine.
Because it affects speed instead of the terrain shape or drilling power, Boost Mod is mainly useful when the player wants faster terrain work without changing other aspects of the tool.
