Fulghor, Champion of Nightglow
Overview
Fulghor, Champion of Nightglow is one of the Nightlords encountered in the Darkdrift Knight expedition. He appears in the
Spirit Shelter after surviving two nights in
Limveld, and must be defeated as part of
Fulghor begins the fight missing his left arm, then shifts into a second phase where a dark, amorphous Night arm grows from the stump and changes the shape of several attacks. In his Everdark Sovereign version, the encounter extends further, restoring the left arm and giving him a bow and twinblade, while his hair turns from red to gold. He is also noted for appearing blind.
He deals Standard and Holy damage, and his greatest weakness is Lightning damage. Lightning is especially valuable because it can interrupt his power-up sequence: when he winds up to thrust his holy spear into the ground and summon golden spears beneath the player, sufficient Lightning damage will stagger him and can prevent the spell entirely. If he is already coated in electricity, Lightning still staggers him easily, though the attack may continue in a weakened form. He is resistant to Holy damage and fully immune to Madness buildup, while Poison, Rot, Blood Loss, Frostbite, and Sleep apply at normal rates.
- HP: 14,273 in solo, 42,820 in trio; Everdark Sovereign HP is increased by 25%

- Stance: 155
- Vulnerable to Critical Attacks after stance break
- Cannot be parried
His basic offense includes large spear swings, thrusts, stomps, and storm-infused combos. Several attacks are difficult to punish unless dodged tightly, but many can be handled by staying close and rolling into the movement rather than backing away. His shockwave-style jump attack can be jumped if spaced correctly, though rolling is safer at close range. His storm attacks are usually telegraphed by wind gathering around the spear; closing distance and dodging into the sweep helps avoid the projectile component.
In phase 2, he gains new movement options such as a long-range flying lunge and an Aspects of the Crucible: Tail-style sweep. These attacks broaden his reach and make side positioning less safe, so dodging through the lunge and away from the sweep direction is the most reliable response. Because he is blind, his pressure tends to feel relentless but direct, with fewer deceptive feints than many other Nightlords.
Fulghor drops Night of the Champion on first victory, along with random relics, Murk, and Sovereign Sigils in his Everdark Sovereign form. He also has a notable progression bug: defeating him does not advance the
