Transport Ship Port

Transport Ship Port is a legacy logistics building tied to the old transport ship system. Before Update 2, Early Access: Galactic Commerce, the transport ship was used to move items from the Space Platform back to the factory. That function was removed in the update, so the Transport Ship Port no longer serves that original role in current play.

If you are working with older content or references to the pre-update logistics chain, the important change is that the transport ship route is obsolete. The current replacement options are Shipping Pad (Small) and Shipping Pad (Medium), which are used instead for item transport between the Space Platform and the factory. As a result, the Transport Ship Port should be treated as part of the old system rather than a building to plan around for new layouts.
