Sulfur

Sulfur is a resource that can be gathered from sulfur tiles in the volcanic biome or obtained from Ash Tree Syrup. It is a crafting material rather than a direct-use combat item, and its role in the economy is very narrow.

Its only known use is as an ingredient for Black Powder. Black Powder itself has very limited application, since it is only used for Explosive Barricade and Land Mine. Even those defensive structures are considered awkward to use as general-purpose defenses, so stockpiling large amounts of Sulfur usually offers little practical benefit.

• Mine Sulfur tiles in the volcanic biome to collect it directly.
• Ash Tree Syrup can also provide Sulfur as a source.
• Since its downstream uses are limited, Sulfur is usually only worth gathering when you specifically want Black Powder.
