Lido

Lido is a buildable recreational structure added to Timberborn in Update 1. It provides a deck and a shallow swimming area where beavers can gather. The building is part of the Folktails content and is exclusive to that DLC; it does not appear in base-game content outside Folktails.

Construction of the lido requires a specific footprint and water arrangement. The structure sits on a 4×1 strip of any solid surface, with an adjacent 4×2 area of water. The water in that 4×2 area must be at least 0.2 meters deep. The lido occupies two vertical layers in the game world: the deck portion is placed on above-ground blocks across the 4×1 strip, while the swimming area occupies ground-level blocks in the adjacent 4×2 water area.

The lido is mainly decorative and social in function, providing a place for beavers to swim and gather rather than handling industrial or agricultural tasks. Visuals for the lido have been shown both in use and as dedicated builds in gallery material for the game. Older artwork and models of the lido are cataloged separately; an obsolete Iron Teeth model exists in archive images.

• Place the 4×1 deck on any solid blocks where you want the lido to sit, then ensure the adjacent 4×2 water area is present and at least 0.2 m deep before building. Construction will not complete if the water area or depth requirement is not met.
• The lido requires vertical space for the two-layer arrangement: the deck occupies above-ground blocks while the swimming area occupies ground-level water blocks. Avoid obstructions that would block either layer.
• Use the lido where you want a social hub or decorative waterfront feature for your settlement. It is a Folktails-exclusive building and will not be available unless that content is active.
• Consult in-game gallery and build previews to plan placement and to see how the lido appears when in use or presented as a dedicated build.
