Overview

The Auto Extractor is a portable resource extraction machine used to harvest natural resources without deforming the terrain, making it a far more efficient alternative to manual digging and item collection. It consumes 8 A/s while operating and takes 6 cycles to produce one unit of its chosen resource.

Unlike terrain-based mining, the Auto Extractor does not consume the deposit itself; it continues extracting until the resource node is depleted by normal game rules. Because of this, it is especially useful on large resource deposits where preserving the landscape matters or where repeated collection would otherwise require extensive reshaping. It can also be stored in a Tier 4 slot, making it convenient to transport and deploy at distant resource sites.

A key advantage of the Auto Extractor is that storage can be attached to its top, allowing additional containers to be placed there and increasing total holding capacity.
