Because its ingredients must be mined, production can be automated in two practical ways. One method is to use Auto Extractors to collect both required resources and move them by train to a Chemistry Lab. Another is to spend scrap on the Trade Platform to obtain the raw resources, then feed them into a Chemistry Lab on the same platform or deliver them with Auto Arms. This makes Aluminum Alloy one of the composite resources that can still be integrated cleanly into automated factory setups.
