Shrine of Rat

The Shrine of Rat is a simple, easy-to-use building with both passive and active functions. Its passive skill can collect taxes simply by passing by citizens, so it requires little micromanagement once it is placed. To make use of that effect, taxes must first be enabled through the Code Stone; without a tax policy, the shrine has nothing to collect.

Its active skill scatters Pia, which is most useful when used near citizens who have run out of money. This makes it especially effective near the food storage when you find hungry citizens, or after you have taken too much tax from wealthy citizens in places such as entertainment facilities and want to help balance their finances again.

• The tax-collection passive triggers on contact, so it is convenient to use in normal traffic routes.
• The active Pia distribution is best used where poor citizens are gathered.
• If a citizen does not move while you hold the T key, you can scatter 10 Pia five times and also receive a +3 happiness buff.
• Because of its straightforward effects, the Shrine of Rat works well as a support building for both economy management and citizen welfare.
