Iridium Scythe

The Iridium Scythe is a late-game tool unlocked after claiming Farming Mastery. It is the strongest upgrade in the scythe line, improving on both the standard Scythe and the Golden Scythe with a noticeably larger swing radius, a purple visual effect, and much greater utility in farming and cleanup.

Unlike the basic scythes, the Iridium Scythe can harvest crops and other qualifying plants directly from tilled soil within its swing range. This includes regular crops, crops grown in Garden Pots, Spring Onions, and other forageables grown from Wild Seeds. Because it can collect these items without needing separate harvesting, it saves time in fields where mixed plantings are common.

Its practical upgrades are substantial:

• It has a larger radius than the Golden Scythe and is more likely to cut all grass within its area.
• It has a 100% chance per swipe to harvest hay from grass, compared to 75% for lower-tier scythes.
• It deals 20 damage, up from the Scythe’s 13 damage.

These improvements make it especially useful for managing large grassy areas and for clearing farm plots efficiently. The guaranteed hay collection is particularly valuable when cutting grass on the farm, since every successful swipe now contributes to silo stock without wasting potential feed. The increased radius also makes it easier to clear dense patches of grass or harvest from clustered plants in a single motion.

As the most powerful scythe variant, the Iridium Scythe effectively combines the harvesting convenience of a tool with the area coverage expected from endgame equipment. Its broader swing and stronger grass-cutting performance make it a strong quality-of-life upgrade for players who routinely maintain large fields or rely on grass for hay production.
