Garden Pot

Grows crops from any season when indoors. Outdoors, it can only house seasonal crops.
Overview
A Garden Pot is a crafted item that allows crops to be grown indoors. It can also be used outdoors on the Farm and the Ginger Island Farm, where it accepts seasonal crop seeds; outside those farms, it can only be used for Tea Saplings. Garden Pots cannot grow 
After the 

Garden Pots can be placed in any space that is not affected by weather, including the Farmhouse, Island Farmhouse, all farm buildings, The Cave, The Tunnel, The Sewers, the Mutant Bug Lair, the Witch’s Swamp, the entrances to The Mines and Skull Cavern, and villagers’ homes. They do not need to be tilled before planting, and they accept fertilizer with the same restrictions and benefits as ordinary tilled soil. They cannot be watered by sprinklers, so crops must be watered manually with a Watering Can unless a type of Retaining Soil is used. 

A Garden Pot can be removed with a tool or by holding left-click, but removing a pot that contains seeds or crops destroys them. Crops grown in Garden Pots can be harvested with the 
- Flowers grown in Garden Pots still count as flowers for nearby Bee Houses, allowing them to produce flower honey.
- Crows do not attack crops grown in Garden Pots.
Cactus Seeds planted in a Garden Pot outdoors on one of the farms will die the next day.
- Attempts to place Ancient Seeds in a Garden Pot produce a refusal message instead of planting them.
- Attempting to plant a current-season seed, including Cactus Seeds, in an outdoor area outside the farms also fails, with the game indicating that it must be planted on the farm.
- Garden Pots placed outside the farm can be destroyed if they are put in a villager’s path, so safe placement matters.
