Galaxy Soul

Forge 3 of these into a Galaxy weapon to unleash its final form.
Overview
The Galaxy Soul is an item used in the Forge to upgrade Galaxy weapons into Infinity weapons. A Galaxy weapon must be upgraded three times, and the full process consumes 3 Galaxy Souls and 60 Cinder Shards total. Weapons forged with Galaxy Souls retain their enchantments and gem upgrades, making the item especially valuable for preserving an already-improved weapon while pushing it to the next tier.
Galaxy Souls have several acquisition methods tied to late-game and advanced combat progression. They can be purchased at Qi's Walnut Room, and after the player has killed at least 50 Dangerous Monsters, they become available from the Island Trader on the last day of a season. Once that same Dangerous Monsters threshold is met, they can also drop from any Dangerous Monster. Semi-transparent Big Slimes containing a Galaxy Soul may appear in the Dangerous Mines or Dangerous Skull Cavern; defeating the Big Slime drops the Galaxy Soul.
A few practical details matter when farming them:
- The Dangerous Monster requirement is specific: Shadow Snipers and Putrid Ghosts do not count unless the Mines are set to difficulty level 2, with both Danger in the Deep and Shrine of Challenge active.
- Because Galaxy Souls are required in multiples of three for a full Infinity upgrade, it is usually efficient to stockpile them before committing to Forge progression.
- The Big Slime method can be useful if you are already exploring the Dangerous Mines or Dangerous Skull Cavern, since the soul is obtained directly from the slain slime rather than from a separate drop table roll.
- Since forged weapons keep their enchantments and gem upgrades, Galaxy Souls are best saved for a weapon you already intend to keep long-term.
Galaxy Souls are not used in bundles, quests, or tailoring.
