Crayfish

Overview
Crayfish is a fish that can be kept in a

When placed in a Fish Pond, Crayfish reproduce every 2 days. The pond starts with a capacity of 3 fish and can be expanded to 10 by completing three quota quests. Their most common pond output is light gray Crayfish Roe, but the pond can also produce

The pond quest requests are straightforward and use common early-game materials:
- Increase capacity from 3 to 5: 5
Clay or 15
Fiber
- Increase capacity from 5 to 7: 10
Bug Meat, 1
Cave Carrot, or 5
Hardwood
- Increase capacity from 7 to 10: 1
Field Snack, 5
Solar Essence, or 1
Wild Bait
Crayfish can also appear as a request in Fish Pond quests. One Crayfish may be asked for by several fish during their pond progression, and five Crayfish may be requested by The Raccoon as part of the first request or from the sixth request onward.
Pond production is weighted by population. Crayfish Roe is the main output throughout the pond’s life, while trash, Green Algae, Driftwood, Broken Glasses, Broken CD, Soggy Newspaper, and
Roe is the primary result at all populations.
- Trash and Green Algae are common secondary outputs.
- Driftwood, broken items, and newspaper can appear as lower-value extras.
- Mixed Seeds and Warp Totem: Mountains only appear once the pond is more developed.
- When the pond is mostly empty of special results, nothing is the most likely outcome.
For players interested in Fish Ponds, Crayfish are a reliable low-maintenance option. They reproduce on a short timer, their pond quests use materials that are often available early, and their products are mostly routine utility items rather than rare treasure. That makes them more useful for steady pond operation and occasional tailoring than for high-value production.
