Glacierfish Jr.

Glacierfish Jr. is one of the five Legendary Fish required for Mister Qi's Extended Family Quest. It is a quest-exclusive fish that can only be caught while the quest is active, but unlike most limited fish, more than one Glacierfish Jr. can be caught during a single quest. It shares the same sell price, healing effect, location, and hook chance as the Glacierfish.

It is found off the southern tip of Arrowhead Island in Cindersap Forest. Because it is tied to the quest, players cannot catch it outside the Extended Family Quest, but once the quest is active the fish can be pursued normally at its fixed fishing spot.

Glacierfish Jr. is not used in any bundles. It can, however, be used for dyeing, where it acts as a blue dye item at the dye pots in Emily's and Haley's house at 2 Willow Lane.

A Glacierfish Jr. can also be placed in a Fish Pond. The pond starts with a capacity of 1 fish and this capacity cannot be increased. The only item it can produce is Glacierfish Jr. Roe. Its daily production is simple: at population 1, the pond has a 79% chance to produce one item and a 21% chance to produce nothing, giving an overall daily chance of 39.5% to produce item(s). The production table lists the item output as giving 32 Fishing XP.
