Radioactive Bar

A Radioactive Bar is a refined metal bar crafted in a Furnace from 5 Radioactive Ore and 1 Coal. Like other bars, it can be shipped for profit, and Clint will also buy it at the Blacksmith Shop. It is one of the game’s late-game materials, with value tied more to its rarity and special uses than to ordinary crafting.

Radioactive Bars have a few notable uses outside of sale:

• 10 Radioactive Bars can be traded to the Island Trader for 1 Galaxy Soul on the last day of a season, but only after the player has killed at least 50 dangerous monsters.
• In Tailoring, it can be used in the Sewing Machine with Cloth in the feed.
• It also acts as a lime dye item when placed in the Sewing Machine with a dyeable clothing item.
• It can be used in the green dye pot at Emily and Haley’s house for dyeing.
• It is not used in any quests.

Its item description is a reference to California Proposition 65, a warning commonly associated with hazardous materials.
