Rug (Rectangular)

The Rug (Rectangular) is a placeable decorative floor covering found throughout the world, often tucked into offices, maintenance rooms, and other indoor spaces. It appears in several color variants, including painted versions, and is one of the small environmental furnishings that can be salvaged and reused in player bases to make rooms feel more lived-in.

It can be found in the Office Sector, including the Cafeteria security office and the Data Farm office, as well as in the Hydroplant Monitoring area beneath the Hydroplant Building. In the Residence Sector, it appears on the far side of the bridge where a Sniper is stationed, and on the upper level in an area that becomes accessible after melting the ice barrier. It also appears in the ski lift building in Voussoir, just before the Yeti cave, and in the Dusk Reactor area in a small room near Dr. Suan Tengku’s laboratory.

Because it is a furnishing rather than a functional tool, its main value is aesthetic. Players who care about base decoration can gather rectangular rugs to vary the look of floors in offices, living spaces, and other constructed areas. The painted variants make it possible to match a wider range of interior layouts and color schemes.
