Overview
Sniper is a ranged enemy of the Sagittari order, an ultra-clandestine core of a secretive sect whose discipline traces back to Roman archery schools in Parthia of the 2nd Century BCE. Snipers appear as long-range infantry that engage players on sight, using high-precision rifles that can kill most targets in only a few hits. They form part of the Order's stealth-oriented units and are notable for lethal marksmanship combined with relatively low physical resilience.
Snipers immediately open fire when they detect a target and can track moving targets with high accuracy. Their weapons have a fast rate of fire and inflict heavy bleeding, which makes sustained damage-over-time a significant threat after being hit. Snipers reveal the direction of their aim with a bright orange laser dot that marks where they are targeting; this visual cue both telegraphs their focus and can be used by players to determine their line of sight. If a player breaks line of sight, a Sniper will continue to face the last known direction of the target rather than immediately searching in all directions.
Tactically, Snipers require careful movement and cover. Use obstacles and rapid repositioning to break their aim and avoid long exposures. Because their shots cause heavy bleeding, keep a supply of Bandages or the more expensive
