Bigogi

Overview

Practical notes and tactics:
Bigogi is immune to all weapon damage; attempts to harm it with guns, melee strikes, or standard attacks have no effect. Use jump-based damage mechanics exclusively.
- The kill condition is strictly mechanical: perform five successful head-jumps to destroy a
Bigogi. Track your successful jumps and avoid interruptions that reset or prevent jump counts.
- Because
Bigogi is slow and tanky, baiting or kiting is effective: position yourself so you can safely land consecutive jumps without being forced into risky ground contact or hazards.
- Avoid relying on status effects or weapon-based debuffs to finish a
Bigogi; these do not substitute for the required jumps.
- Collecting the Royal Pepper from a defeated
Bigogi triggers its effect immediately. Plan pickups accordingly if the item’s effect interacts with current status, environmental hazards, or puzzles that require immediate activation.
- Expect encounters with
Bigogi to be designed as movement-challenge encounters rather than tests of raw damage output; prioritize platforming control and timing.
