Gliders

Gliders are a type of vehicle that let the player move efficiently over terrain by gliding rather than walking or running. Using one steadily consumes a small amount of stamina, so long flights need to be managed with care. On windy days, a hang glider provides a noticeable movement boost and lets the player jump slightly higher, making weather a real factor in travel.

Most gliders behave the same in use, and the blue, orange, pink, purple, red, and yellow hang gliders differ only in appearance. A few special variants cover a greater distance than the standard colored models: the Bat Glider, Butter Glider, Flame Glider, Galaxy Glider, Glowing Hang Glider, Invisible Glider, and Pirate Glider all travel farther. This makes them especially useful for crossing larger gaps, covering rough terrain, or stretching out long descents without needing to land as early.

Gliders can be obtained from a wide range of late-game activities, collections, and rare drops. Their sources are spread across treasure rooms, events, shops, and special crafting stations, so completing a full set usually comes from exploring many parts of the game rather than a single progression path. Notable acquisition methods include:

• Bat Glider: sacrifice 20 Bat Wings at the Bat Shrine in the Deep Mine.
• Blue Hang Glider: rare drop from the sparkling fish when the Bountiful Wish is active at the Wish Fountain Deed.
• Butter Glider: appears on a display table behind Theodore in the Museum Deed after completing the full museum collection of bugs, fish, and critters; it becomes purchasable only after the full Pedia is complete.
• Flame Glider: found randomly in red wooden chests inside treasure rooms in the Hot Hot Hot.
• Galaxy Glider: rare drop from breaking open a Meteorite.
• Glowing Hang Glider: rare drop from opening a Mystery Bag from the Night Merchant Event.
• Invisible Glider: crafted at the Hunter's Crafting Table in Ted Selly's camp at the Great Bite.
• Leaf Glider: found randomly in green wooden chests inside treasure rooms in the Undergrove, buried in the Island Reef, and as a random rotating item on Jimmy's Boat for 10,000,000, one per visit.
• Orange Hang Glider: rare drop from digging up buried treasure.
• Pink Hang Glider: rare drop from sending off animals at the Animal Collection Point or Auto Animal Trap; it arrives in the mailbox the next day when the trap is returned.
• Pirate Glider: found randomly in buried blue wooden chests in the Island Reef.
• Purple Hang Glider: rare drop from the sparkling bugs when the Bountiful Wish is active at the Wish Fountain.
• Red Hang Glider: purchasable on Jimmy's Boat, one per visit.
• Yellow Hang Glider: found in brown wooden chests inside treasure rooms in the Deep Mine and buried in the Island Reef.

Because gliders are movement tools rather than combat gear, their main value is mobility and route planning. Players who want the most practical travel option generally benefit from carrying one at all times, especially when exploring uneven areas, chasing timed objectives, or crossing water-adjacent terrain where a longer glide can save time.
