Super Productive

Super Productive is a duplicant trait that makes a duplicant super productive while they are Overjoyed. The trait is binary in effect: it grants the duplicant greatly increased productivity only during the Overjoyed morale state and has no special effect at other morale levels.

Because the trait is keyed to the Overjoyed state, the trait’s usefulness depends entirely on keeping the duplicant in that state at appropriate times. Overjoyed is a high-positive morale condition; when a duplicant reaches it the Super Productive trait activates and their work output rises markedly for as long as the state persists.

• Keep tasks that benefit most from speed or throughput scheduled for periods when the duplicant is Overjoyed so you get maximum value from the trait.
• Use morale-improving measures and comforts to increase the frequency and duration of Overjoyed states for duplicants with this trait.
• Assign Super Productive duplicants to jobs where short bursts of very high productivity are more valuable than steady, long-term performance (for example, clearing a backlog, fast construction runs, or concentrated research pushes).
• Monitor duplicant moods so the Overjoyed state coincides with planned work windows; without Overjoyed the trait provides no bonus.

Super Productive does not change how other aspects of the duplicant operate outside of the Overjoyed state. The trait’s advantage is situational and most effective when colony management can reliably trigger and time high morale periods for the duplicant.
