Overview

Grass is a very cheap basic material, but it is often short in supply during the early game because many recipes and tasks demand it in large quantities. It is one of the first resources that can become a bottleneck simply through volume, despite its low individual value.

Grass can be gathered or produced on a Grass Field, but both methods are inefficient compared with other resource sources. Because of that, it is usually better to import Grass whenever possible rather than relying on local collection alone. This makes it one of the early materials that benefits from a stable supply network more than from direct manual production.

  • Very inexpensive, but frequently needed in large amounts early on.
  • Gathering it directly is not very efficient.
  • Producing it on a Grass Field is also not very efficient.
  • Importing Grass is the preferred option when available, since it helps avoid early shortages.
