Lucky Ring

The lunar emblem is said to bring good luck to whoever wears it.
Overview
The Lucky Ring is a ring that can be found as a special drop in the Skull Cavern or the Quarry Mine, and it can also be obtained by panning. It is one of the few rings that directly increases Luck, making it useful for players who want better odds while mining, fishing for treasure, or otherwise taking advantage of luck-based outcomes.
Equipping one Lucky Ring gives +1 Luck. Wearing a second Lucky Ring adds another +1 Luck, for a total of +2 Luck from the pair. Because rings can be equipped in both accessory slots, this bonus can stack with itself if the player has two copies.
The Lucky Ring also has a dyeing use. It acts as a yellow dye item at the dye pots in

Panning is a notable way to obtain the Lucky Ring, but the drop chance is strongly affected by luck. Daily luck and luck buffs both improve the odds, so the item is much more likely to appear when the player is already benefiting from luck-enhancing effects. The chance is determined by the player's current luck buff and daily luck, meaning that better luck conditions directly translate into better panning results.
A few practical points make the Lucky Ring especially valuable:
- It is a strong accessory for luck-focused builds because its effect is unconditional once equipped.
- Two copies can be worn at once, allowing the luck bonus to stack.
- Since it can appear in Skull Cavern, the Quarry Mine, and from panning, players have multiple routes to obtain it.
- Its dyeing function gives it extra utility even after better combat or mining accessories become available.
Because Luck affects many random events in Stardew Valley, the Lucky Ring is especially attractive for players who spend time in dangerous or reward-heavy areas. Finding one early can make it worthwhile to keep equipped for extended periods, especially when searching for geodes, ladder progress, or other favorable outcomes tied to luck.
