Sonar Bobber

The Sonar Bobber is a tackle that reveals what fish is hooked before it is caught, displaying the fish outside the top-right of the fishing minigame window. This makes it useful for identifying catches early while fishing, especially when hunting for specific fish or checking what a bite will become.

It can be crafted, bought from Willy’s Fish Shop after reaching Fishing level 6, or found in Fishing Treasure Chests. Regular Fishing Treasure Chests can contain it with a 3%–4% chance after Fishing level 6, while Golden Fishing Treasure Chests can contain it with a 9%–10% chance.

• Using two Sonar Bobbers on an Advanced Iridium Rod provides no extra benefit over using one.
• It is not used in any bundles.
• It is not used in any quests.
• It can be used as a gray dye in the Sewing Machine when placed in the spool with a dyeable clothing item.
