Spinner

The Spinner is a tackle that reduces the maximum time before a fish bites by 3.75 seconds. When used with an Advanced Iridium Rod and two Spinners, this reduction becomes 7.5 seconds total. It can be crafted after reaching Fishing level 6, purchased from Willy’s Fish Shop, or found randomly at the Traveling Cart.

Because it is a tackle, the Spinner is consumed through use and must be attached to a compatible fishing rod. Its main purpose is to speed up bite frequency rather than affect fish movement during the fishing minigame, making it especially useful when fishing for long periods or when trying to increase the number of casts per day.

• The Spinner is most valuable when the player wants faster bite times without changing the rest of the fishing setup.
• It stacks with another Spinner on the same rod only through the Advanced Iridium Rod’s extra tackle slot interaction, reaching the full 7.5-second reduction.
• The recipe is profitable without the Blacksmith profession, but becomes a loss with that profession.
